Come and Stay at Bayfield

Bayfield House is a private family holiday home overlooking Galway Bay, available for exclusive use by families and groups of up to 14 guests.

We generally rent Bayfield for weekly stays, rather than individual nights, giving you time to properly settle in, explore the Burren and this wonderful stretch of the Wild Atlantic Way — and hopefully slow down a little while you're here.

Questions Before You Book?

If you've found some suitable dates but would like to ask us something about the house before booking, we'd be very happy to help.

Simply use the Message Host / Contact Host option on our Airbnb or Vrbo listing. This keeps all questions, booking details and correspondence safely together in one place and means we can respond with the correct information for your particular stay.

A Little Note Before Enquiring

Bayfield isn't a hotel or a B&B — you'll have the whole house and its three acres of gardens to yourselves. It's particularly suited to family holidays, gatherings of friends, golfing trips and longer stays exploring County Clare and the Burren.

If that sounds like what you're looking for, we'd love to welcome you.

How to find us

Bayfield House is located in the peaceful hamlet of New Quay, County Clare, on the south side of Galway Bay — right between the coastal villages of Kinvara and Ballyvaughan.
You’ll find us surrounded by sea, sky, and the rolling limestone hills of the Burren — an unforgettable part of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way.
